U15 - Hart Strikers

The Under 15s have two 11-a-side teams this season (2010-11) Strikers and Athletic. Many of the lads have been with Hart FC since U6s. As the boys have grown, so have the numbers in the squad increased. This page is all about Strikers (details about Athletic can be found on their page by clicking on the button in the menu bar on the left).

Strikers played in the North East Hampshire Youth League (NEHYL. see www.nehyl.org) at 7-a-side Mini Soccer from U7s to U10s and continued in the NEHYL when moving to 11-a-side at U11s and U12s. Strikers have been a very successful 11-a-side team, winning both the Premier League and League Cup at U11s and U12s and only losing one game in the U11s and U12s seasons before switching to the Surrey Youth League, (SYL. see www.wsyl.org.uk) (formally West Surrey Youth League) last season at U13s to play in the much stronger SYL Premier League. The 2008-09 season was another successful season at U13s which saw Strikers finishing runners up in the league, Semi Finalists in the SYL League Cup and Quarter Finalists in the Surrey County Cup. The 2009-10 season saw more progress from Strikers proving they are a great team by getting to the Semi-Final of the Surrey County Cup, only to be knocked out be te eventual winners. Also, finishing 4th In the SYL Premier Elite League was a fantastic achievement. Onwards and Upwards for the coming U15s season.

The 2010-11 season will see Strikers again playing in the SYL Premier Elite Division. I'm sure it will be another hard season but I'm also sure that Strikers will rise to the challenge and will improve further upon last season.
